Salut FGUP MMPP (Moscow) will manufacture and supply two GTU-12S gas turbine power plant each rated at 12 MW for the station modernization. After realization of the project five

GTU-12S will be in operation on the site. The power plants will be installed instead of out-of-date gas turbine units. In the site condition GTU-20 has electric output of 20 MW and efficiency of 32 %. It guarantees considerable power reserve because the capacity of driven generator is only 12 MW.

Yamburgskaya GTES with total electric output of 72 MW was commissioned in 1992 by Gazprom JSC. The general designer of the project is Giprospetsgas Institute.
