First stage of South-West TETs thermal power plant (Saint-Petersburg) was put into operation.

Two hot-water boilers with total output of 151 MW started operation on the site of the station. The PGU-200 combined cycle power station will consist of two Ansaldo Energia V64.3À gas turbines, two Pr-100/14.8-9.4/0.85-535/245 heat-recovery steam generators (Podolsk machine-building plant) and Siemens SST-600 steam turbine.
