Second power unit of Aksu thermal power plant started commercial operation after modernization. New generation K-325-23.5 steam turbine was supplied by Turboatom JSC (Ukraine). It replaced obsolete K-300-240-2 steam turbine. After commissioning total electric output of steam turbine power unit was increased by 25 MW. Reconstruction of the plant gives the opportunity to increase reliability of power generation and environmental friendliness of the equipment. Second power unit of Aksu thermal power plant is the fourth power unit commissioned on the base of Turboatom JSC steam turbines.
