E-ON Russia JSC commissioned PGU-400 combined cycle power station on the site of Yajvinskaya GRES.

The station was designed around Siemens AG SCC5-4000F 1o1 single-shaft gas turbine combined cycle power plant. It consists of SGT5-4000F gas turbine rated at 286.6 MW, heat-recovery steam generator and Siemens steam turbine. PGU-400 net efficiency is 56.6 %. Total cost of the project is 16.6 billion roubles.

General contractor for the project is ENKA Insaat ve Sanayi A.S. (Turkey). As a result total electric output of Yajvinskaya GRES thermal power station was increased from 600 up to 1000 MW.
