The fourth unit of the station consists of three GE Energy LM 6000 PF gas turbine power plants with total electric output of 139.1 MW. The commissioning of the unit is planned in the third quarter of 2013. The unit will be equipped with three EGSI-S-400/1200-130/1200 WA two-stage fuel gas booster compressors manufactured by Enerproject. The compressors are delivered, installed and commissioned by the specialists of Energaz Ltd. which is the representative of Enerproject in Russia. The modernization of Yuzhno-Sakhalinskaya TETs-1 thermal power station is carrying out by Far East government in cooperation with power engineering companies.
