Three GPA-4RM gas pumping units were commissioned on the site of Kaliningradskoye underground gas storage station.

Gas pumping units were developed and manufactured by Saturn-Gas Turbines Ltd. They were designed around GTD-4RM gas turbines rated at 4.1 MW. The efficiency of the engine is 32.4 % (ISO conditions). The units are equipped with Ariel reciprocating compressors. The main advantage of such pumping units is the possibility to operate in wide range of inlet/outlet pressure levels. The units are equipped with Flender (Germany) reduction gears.
