Siemens Energy received an order from Argentina for the turnkey construction of the Guillermo Brown thermoelectric power plant. The customer is Fideicomiso Central Termoelectrica Guillermo Brown S.A. The core of the new power plant will consist of two SGT5-4000F gas turbines. Together, they will have an electrical generating capacity of approximately 580 megawatts (MW). The order volume, including power transmission, fuel supply solutions and a Full Service Maintenance contract for 10 years, amounts to approximately USD 800 million.
