The station was constructed under the order of Rusvietpetro, which is the joint venture of Zarubezhneft JSC and Pietrovietnam KNG (State Oil & Gas Corporation of Vietnam).

Electric output of the first power unit of the station is 36 MW. It was developed on the base of three EGES-12S gas turbine plants. They were developed by Iskra NPO and manufactured by Iskra Energetika JSC.

EGES 12S was designed around GTU-12PG-2 devel oped by Aviadvigatel JSC and manufactured by Perm Motor Plant and ТС-12-2-RUKhL3 electric generators supplied by Electrotyazhmash-Privod Ltd. The station is equipped with waste-heat boilers manufactured by Ukhtinsky experimental-mechanical plant.

The main fuel for the station is associated petroleum gas (APG) The station generates electric and thermal power for the needs of field infrastructure. The station will be equipped with fuel treatment unit with booster compressor stations.
