Vostok Power Systems RAO started the construction of KWT300 wind turbine manufactured by Komaihaltek Inc. The first wind turbine was commissioned on the site in 2014. At the end of 2015 two more similar wind turbines will be commissioned on the site. The construction of wind park is carried out under the cooperation of Vostok Power Systems RAO and NEDO which is state Japan organization for the development of advanced power and industrial technologies. After commissioning total electric output of the wind park will be 900 kW. Under the contract Komaihaltek Inc. in cooperation with Mitsui and Fuji Electric will supply, install and commission wind turbines. Wind turbines will be united with existing diesel power plants.
