The project for development, production and commissioning of modern power station was realized under the contract with Gazpromneft-Razvitiye Ltd. The station generates electric power for the needs of Arctic Gate oil terminal on Gulf of Ob. Power station with total electric output of 14.8 MW consists of nine Zvezda-МТ-1650VК-05М3 crude oil power plants. They were developed on the base of Kolomna plant engines. The main fuel for the plants is heavy fuel oil, back-up fuel is diesel. The station is equipped with control system developed and manufactured by Zvezda-Energetika JSC.
