The K-215-12.8 steam turbine was manufactured at the Leningrad Metal Plant (Power Machines JSC) as part of the modernization of Surgut GRES-1 (OGK-2). The turbine has passed factory tests. In the presence of the customer's representatives, the turbine was scrolled on the shaft turning device and control points were measured. Tests have confirmed the high quality of manufacturing and assembly of the machine. The K-215-12.8 will replace K-210-130-3 turbine of the block No. 16 at Surgutskaya GRES-1 that has run out of life cycle, also manufactured by LMZ and in operation for more than 40 years.
