The wind turbines are intended for the largest offshore wind energy project to be implemented in the German sector of the North Sea. Hamburg-based Luxcara has signed an agreement with Siemens Gamesa to reserve capacity for the 1,500 MW Waterekke wind farm. Under the contract, Siemens Gamesa will provide maintenance and repair services for the equipment for 30 years.
