Vatyeganskoye field gas turbine power plant on the base of EGES-12S-01 power units.

Installed in the immediate vicinity of oil fields captive power plants operate on casing-head gas. Thus they both supply power for the infrastructure and utilize casing-head gas. Gas turbine power plant is considered to be environmentally friendly as fuel combustion technology used provides low emissions.
LUKoil JSC is one of the leaders in operation of gas turbine power plants on casing-head gas. At present there are several plants in operation on Tevlinsko-Russkinskoe and other oil & gas fields. Some of them are commissioning now. The most powerful gas turbine power plant with total output of 72 MW was constructed on Vayeganskoye oil field. (Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Area).
Under the contract Aviadvigatel JSC accomplished the delivery of power plants, turbogenerators and lubricating oil systems. The development of gas turbine units was carried out by Iskra NPO. EGES-12C-01 power plant and its components packaging were accomplished by Iskra-Energetika JSC.
The general designer of GTES-72 power station was VNIIPIET State Institute (S.-Petersburg). Because of very wide experience in the construction of power plants LUKoil – West Siberia Ltd. was selected as general constructor of the project.

District heating – a history of fuel flexibility in Copenhagen.

District heating is a concept which makes it possible to utilize not only different kinds of fuels, but also a surplus heat from «low grade» sources as waste. That way district heating ensures a high degree of fuel flexibility, thus increasing the overall security of supply to the customers. The first steps in creating of centralized district heating system in Copenhagen were made more than hundred years ago. As a result of energy crises in 1970 the main attention was paid to using the different fuels and utilizing the different heat sources for district heating.
At present Copenhagen district heating system is very striking example of the success of this idea. More than 30 % of annual thermal power consumption is covered by the heat utilized from waste treatment. For the generation of remaining quantity of necessary thermal power geothermal energy, wood granules, straw, heavy oil, coal and natural gas are used.

Yuzhnoye Khylchuyu power park automation on the base of SIMATIC PCS 7 system

High requirements being made to reliability, safety and usability of gas turbine power objects (power plants, power parks, compressor stations) determine higher and higher requirements to automatic control systems of power units (gas pumping plants, power plants etc.) and to technological processes automatic control systems of various objects.
The article presents the experience of multi-units gas turbine power station control system on Yuzhnoye Khylchuyu oil and gas condensate field. The structure of automatic control system was developed according multi-staged, hierarchical, information managing system. It has three levels.
Power park control system was developed by Sputnic Komplektatsiya Ltd. It also accomplished  commissioning of the system.

Autonomous power station for storage facilities near Moscow.

Autonomous power station rated at 7.3 MW was commissioned in Chernaya Gryaz settlement for generation of electric and thermal power for MLP storage facilities. The project was realized by Mosoblgazservice inder turn-key contract.
The station consists of 4 GE Energy Jenbacher gas engines JMS 612 GS N.LS each rated at 1822 kW, with thermal output 1792 kW.

Modular power plants with photovoltaic units.

The power supply of cross-country end users must be realized on the base of not less than two independent power sources – main and back-up. The operation experience ensures the expediency of various back-up power sources for uninterrupted electric power delivery.
Electrogaz JSC has mastered the mass production of various modifications BKES-EG power plant equipped with traditional power sources – transformer substations, microturbines and diesel power units.
The power plant, described in the article, was developed in cooperation with Gazavtomatika JSC to define the possibility and expediency of photovoltaic units using as a part of power plant on the site in the North-Caucasus region during the operation testing.
The customer of the plant equipped with photovoltaic units is Gazprom transgaz Stavropol Ltd.At present, Afipelectrogaz (a subsidiary of Electrogaz JSC) is manufacturing the pilot BKES-EG plant equipped with photovoltaic units. Testing operation of the plant on Gazprom objects will give the opportunity to work out the guidelines for choosing of the regions for using such plants.

Simulation modeling methods of power plants operation modes for control systems realization.

Under new regulations of power market it is necessary to optimize operating modes of power plants with very complicated configuration (in the presence of power units, peak hot water boilers).
The most effective way for this optimization is the application of mathematical (simulation) modeling. At present this method is generally recognized. It gives the opportunity to simulate power plants operation modes on the base of real equipment performance characteristics.
The advanced products of leading manufacturers of specialized software are at the heart of CROC company control systems. First of all they are OSIsoft and Thermoflow.

Ural-6000 power units for Bovanenkovskoye oil and gas condensate field.

Bureniye power plant rated at 36 MW ensures reliable power supply of drilling operation on Bovanenkovskoye oil and gas condensate field. The power plant will operate in base load as a part of local power grid. Gas turbine power plant was developed by Aviadvigatel JSC.
It was delivered by Iskra-Avigaz JSC. Earlier, in 2008, Iskra-Avigaz supplied the power plant rated at 12.5 MW, designed on the base of Ural-2500 gas turbine power units, for power supply of the field infrastructure.
Bovanenkovskoye oil and gas condensate field is situated in Yamal region. At present it is Gazprom operational field in the most remote Arctic area. The climate of this polar region remarkable for its long polar night and frosts of 55 degrees below zero. The height of snow blanket usually culminates of 1.5 meter. Modular design of the units ensures fast commissioning of the plant.
