Power Machines JSC manufactured, tested, and commissioned a steam turbine for a 450 MW CCGT unit (PGU-450) under construction at Urengoyskaya GRES.

Under the contract Power Machines are to manufacture a K-160-7.5 steam turbine and a 160 MW TZFP turbogenerator with an excitation system. Turbogenerator was manufactured ahead of the contractual term this April.

Power Machines has already manufactured two GTE-160 gas turbines of 160 MW, each complete with air intake ducts and automatic start-up and control systems for the CCGT unit under construction at Urengoyskaya SDPP.

The new K-160-7.5 steam turbine is to be delivered to the power plant during Q4 2011.
