Combined Cycle power plant is under the operation in base mode on the site of Lukomlskaya GRES.

The construction of the plant was carried out by Chinese engineering corporation. The customer of the station is Vitebskenergo RUP. Total electric output of the station is 427 MW, efficiency is more than 57 %. The station was designed around Siemens SGT5-4000F gas turbine plant rated at 288 MW. The main fuel for the station is natural gas. The cost of the contract is $300 mln.
