Second power unit was commissioned on the site of Ulan-Batorskaya TETs-4.

Ural Turbine Works commissioned new steam turbine plant rated at 120 MW on the site of Ulan-Batorskaya TETs-4 which is one of the biggest power stations in Mongolia. The project was realized on turn-key basis. Under the contract advanced T-120/130-130-8MO steam turbine rated at more than 120 MW was commissioned on the site.

This steam turbine was developed on T-100 platform. After the commissioning of the plant total electric output of the station was increased from 570 up to 693 MW. All generated electric and thermal power is used for the needs of Ulan-Bator, the capital of the country.
