It is necessary to transform the magazine in covering the development of scientific and technical potential of Russia, presenting new developments in power engineering, allowing us to achieve technological sovereignty of our Russia.

We plan to create an open professional platform for communication between scientific, educational, production organizations and communities in the field of power engineering, transport and aircraft engine building, energy, oil and gas industry. The platform should form a scientific and engineering debate and expand the audience by attracting specialists from related industries, owners of high-tech technologies: computer-aided design and production, modern materials, additive technologies, robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, the Internet of things, etc.

6 Usage of the modern bearing supports in the design of centrifugal compressors.

The article describes the main types of bearing supports used in the design of centrifugal compressors manufactured by Nevsky zavod JSC. Babbit coated bearing liners are usually implemented in typical centrifugal compressor design. Due to technological development in power engineering they are currently ready to be replaced with polymeric material coatings, which allow to increase the efficiency and service life of the bearing without any changes in its design.

Along with the journal bearings in a production of centrifugal compressors, Nevsky zavod uses a magnetic bearing system (MBS) of own production. This system holds a rotor in a central position relative to stator due to electromagnetic forces. Main advantages and disadvantages of different types of bearing supports are analyzed in the article. An expediency of using bearing supports of different types in the design of gas pumping units is assessed.

What is the relationship between modern digital approaches of design and technological preparation of production and the product PLM lifecycle management system?

Which is preferable – traditional drawings or an original electronic product layout, costs or benefits? These questions are the main topic of this article.

Today, the IT market is witnessing the departure of foreign software suppliers and the consequence of this is an increase in the import dependence of industry solutions. Enterprises face a difficult task, which control systems of design and technological preparation of production to switch to. A huge number of forums are organized where the possibility of developing their own «heavy systems» is discussed, etc.

16 Technical progress in the development of new bearing materials of friction units.

It is surprising to realize that today, despite the active development of technological progress, some important areas of production or individual processes remain at the level of development more than 100 years ago, although existing competencies and experience in this area allow you to make a significant technological breakthrough without much effort. This applies, for example, to the technology of manufacturing and repairing plain bearings in rotary equipment.

The most common bearing material in this industry are the so-called babbits.

20 Fundamentals of the design methodology of turbo expanders for Gazprom PJSC facilities.

The issues and problems of energy efficiency of equipment operated at the enterprises of Gazprom PJSC in the last decade have become increasingly important and are widely discussed at international forums and conferences. The presence of unused energy and additional power costs for auxiliary systems during gas throttling at gas cooling stations and gas distribution stations indicate insufficient efficient use of equipment. One of the solutions to this problem is the use of turbo-expander technology.

The article presents the classification of turbo expanders, the most widely used in the domestic gas industry. Dependencies are given that allow us to evaluate the energy efficiency of various design solutions and requirements for a minimum set of initial data. The characteristic geometric and kinematic dependences for both axial and centripetal expanders are considered. The direct relationship between the technological process and the constructive solution is noted. The most typical disadvantages encountered in the operated products are described. The basic approaches of designing and fine-tuning new products are given. The method of turbo expanders designing, the basics of which are described in the article, allows to design the equipment, following the calculation algorithm from processing the initial data to testing the first pilot sample on the stand.

26Development of a domestic mobile compressor plant with ICL Baker Hughes motor compressor.

The active development by Russian companies of advanced, technically sophisticated equipment purchased earlier abroad will allow the oil and gas complex to rely seriously on the domestic manufacturer in all difficult situations.
It is precisely such developments that will restore national scientific and technical sovereignty in all industries.
In 2020, INGK started creating a mobile compressor unit for trial operation under a contract with Gazpromneft - Noyabrskneftegaz JSC and under a license agreement with Gazpromneft STC LLC.

32 Operational experience of gas pumping unit GPU-32 Ladoga.

GPU-32 Ladoga is a gas pumping unit manufactured by JSC Nevskiy zavod for natural gas production and transportation facilities. Technical solutions implemented in a unit design were worked out during operation. Based on the GPU operational and maintenance experience a malfunction analysis was performed and measures to improve the design and reliability of the units are implemented.

The GPU malfunction analysis and systematization were made based on fault detection statements, reports and letters from operating organizations as well as on results of scheduled maintenance. The assembly units of GPU-32 Ladoga which are the mostly affected by failures during the operation on domestic gas transportation facilities were determined based on analysis results.

A number of measures to improve the design and to increase the operational reliability of GPU-32 Ladoga, including replacement with the components of own production, have been developed and realized considering all of the revealed malfunction.

38 Choice of domestic heat-resistant alloy for the T32 gas turbine combustion chamber.

The article is devoted to the determination of evaluation criteria for the selection of materials mastered in the production of domestic metallurgy for use in the design of the localized combustion chamber of the T32 gas turbine instead of the original AMS 5872 grade alloy. The evaluation in the selection of materials and criteria for replacement was carried out on such heat-stressed parts combustion chambers as a combustion liner and a transition piece from the combustion chamber to the high-pressure turbine. The reliability and duration of operation of the combustion chamber depends on the objectively justified choice of material, which directly affects the resource indicators of the T32 gas turbine as a whole. The initiation of cracks, their development and subsequent destruction of parts made of heat-resistant alloys in combustion chambers most often occurs under the influence of thermal cyclic loads. The appearance of thermal cracks is the main cause of the occurrence of centers of the onset of destruction, initiating further development of cracks from the impact of static or cyclic forces.

An analysis of the mechanical properties and assortment of domestic heat-resistant alloys was carried out to replace the original AMS 5872 grade alloy. Iterative calculations were performed using the Manson and Coffin equations to determine the thermocyclic stability of heat-resistant alloys. Based on the results of the study, the strength assessment criteria were determined and the optimal domestic heat-resistant alloy was selected as an alternative to the original grade alloy.
