Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems has received an order for three sets of M701 DA gas turbine and generator to be installed at the 400 megawatt Zerger gasfired power plant for the national utility, Turkmenenergo, in Turkmenistan. The turbines will be supplied to Sumitomo Corporation, which is charged with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for the plant. Yokogawa Electric Corp. informed about the delivery of control systems and all necessary electrical equipment for the station. The order for the delivery was received from Renaissance Heavy Industries which is subcontractor of the project.

Seven GPA-32 Ladoga gas pumping units were commissioned on the site of Russkaya compressor station. They were developed on the base of MS5002E gas turbines manufactured under GE license. Main power equipment for the station were manufactured and supplied by REP Holding under the contract with Gasprom komplektatsiya, Ltd. signed in 2012. GPA-32 Ladoga gas pumping unit has high efficiency, low emission levels and long service lifetime.

The consortium consisting of Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Ltd. (MHPS) commissioned first power unit of Turakurganskaya TETs thermal power station constructed in Namanganskaya Region. In 2016 Uzbekenergo signed turn-key contract for the construction of two combined cycle power units each rated at 450 MW on the site of Turakurganskaya TETs. A part of construction works is carried out by Calik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (Turkey). In future it is planned to build two more similar units. Second power unit of the station is planned for commissioning at the end of this year. After realization of the project Turakurganskaya TETs will generate 7 bln kWh of electric power.
