Parc éolien Nicolas-Riou S.E.C., a limited partnership owner at 50% by EDF EN Canada Inc, a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, and at 50% by the community partners Énergie Éolienne Bas-Saint-Laurent (ÉÉBSL) and the Régie intermunicipale de l’énergie Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine (RIEGÎM), has placed a firm and unconditional order for 65 V117-3.45 MW turbines, to be deployed at the Nicolas Riou wind project in Québec, Canada. When complete, this order will take the installed capacity of V117-3.3/3.45 MW turbines globally across the 800 MW mark.

The order comprises supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a 10-year Active Output Management (AOM) 5000 service agreement, which is a full-scope service package to maximize uptime, performance and energy production. Vestas' turbines delivery is expected to begin in Q2 2017 with final commissioning scheduled for Q4 2017.

Under the contract with Gasprom transgas Kuban Zvezda-Energetika JSC manufatured five Zvezda-GP-315NK-02МЗ-001 gas engine power plants and one Zvezda-100NK-02M3 stand-by diesel generating set. Total electric output of the equipment is 1675 kW. The plants were developed on the base of Cummins gas engines. Earlier the on-site power station equipped Zvezda-GP-315NK-02МЗ-001 gas engine power plants and one Zvezda -630NK-02М3-01 diesel engine power plant was commissioned.

Inter RAO-Export Ltd. and Energoimport (a part of the national Cuban energy company Union Electrica) have signed a contract for construction of four power units with the unit capacity of 200 MW at two existing Cuban power plants: one unit – at Maximo Gomez TPP (Mariel municipality) and three units – at Este Habana TPP (Santa Cruz del Norte municipality).

Under the project overaged PT-50-130 steam turbine rated at 50 MW will be replaced. Instead of it new T-120/130-12.8 steam turbine rated at 120 MW will be installed on the site of power station. New steam turbine will be supplied by Power Machines JSC.

In the result total electric output of the station will be increased up to 460 MW, thermal power output – up to 1330 Gcal/h. The customer of the project is TGK-11. Earlier in 2014 Soyuz holding prepared all project documentation, carried out complete set of paper studies and inspection of engineering structures on the site.

The contract for the equipment delivery was signed with Kaliningradskaya Generation Ltd. Under the contract Russian Gas Turbines will supply eight 6F.03 (6FA) gas turbine plants. Total cost of the contract is 13.1 bln roubles. The plants will be installed on the sites of three power stations in Kaliningrad, Sovetsk and Gusev. The projects will be realized on turn-key basis. The plants will be equipped with Elsib electric generators.

The project was realized by SNPS Aktobemunaygas JSC under the program of complete utilization of associated petroleum gas. Under the project two steam turbine units were added to existing three GE-10/1 gas turbine plants. Three CG-330/9.81-Q heat recovery steam generators and two EHNK 71/90/160 with total electric output of 160 MW were installed on the site. Additional electric power will be used for technological needs of SNPS Aktobemunaygas JSC departments and supplied to national power grid.

Four Ural-6000 power plants on the base of GTU-6P gas turbines were commissioned on the site of Pyakyakhinskoye field (Lukoil-Western Siberia) in 2009. Total electric output of the station is 24 MW. Two more similar plants were delivered to the site in 2015. In result total electric output of the station will be increased up to 36 MW. The power equiment operates in very severe conditions of Polar Circle. Temperature range on the site is –60 °C up to +45 °C.
