Cogeneration power station was commissioned on the site of solid waste landfill near Nikolaev (Ukraine).

The power station with electric output of 1063 kW was commissioned on the site of solid waste landfill in Bolshaya Korenikha village. The project was realized by LNK Company for the utilization of methane collected from the site under degassing process.

Vestas receives 50 MW order in China.

Long-term Vestas customer Hanas Group has placed an order for 25 V110-2.0 MW turbines for a wind park in Western China. The firm and unconditional order follows the 250 MW Hanas Group ordered in November and will take Hanas’ fleet of Vestas turbines to 900 MW.

The order for the Wanglejing Sunjialou wind park in western China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region underlines the strong partnership between Vestas and Hanas Group and emphasises our shared focus on reducing the wind park’s lifetime cost of energy.

The order includes two-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 service contract in which Vestas guarantees a defined level of availability and performance, and a SCADA VestasOnline Business for data-driven monitoring and preventive maintenance. Delivery and commissioning are expected in the second half of 2016.

MHPS receives order for H-25 gas turbine for cogeneration GTCC plant in Belarus.

Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. (MHPS) has received an order for a gas turbine with a power output of 26 MW from China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), the company responsible for EPC of a cogeneration gas turbine combined cycle power plant project under way in Belarus by that country's Republican Unitary Enterprise of Power Industry Gomelenergo. Gas turbine plant is scheduled to go into operation in June 2017. The GTCC project, which is being financed by the World Bank, calls for the refurbishing and modernization of the existing Gomel CHP station.

Rolt Company started project development for four power stations under the contract with Eurocement Group.

Power stations with total electric output of 100 MW are intended for cement factories situated in Central and North Caucasian Federal Districts of Russian Federation. New power station will partially provide the demands of enterprises in electric and thermal power. Rolt Company will develop the projects of power stations construction for Lipetskcement (23.2 MW), Oskolcement, Kavkazcement and Voronezhsky affiliate of Eurocement Group (each station rated at 15.2 MW).

The project was realized by GrandMotors Group of Companies.

The station consists of three SDMO T1540 (France) diesel power plants. Total electric output of the station is 3.3 MW. The contract calls for guarantee maintenance. The main feature of the project is relative location of communication lines and environmental support systems of the station. The power plants are installed on the ground floor of the building.

Mars 90 CS gas turbine plants are in operation at Chervonodonetskaya compressor station.

Booster compressor station is situated in Balakleysky district of Kharkovskaya Region. Three gas turbine plants increase the output of the station. The station is used for pressure rising of the gas extracted on from the fields of Shebelinkagasdobycha State enterprise (Ukrgasdobycha DK) and suppling it to the Ukrainian system of cross-country gas pipelines. Solar Turbines Inc. gas pumping units were developed on the base of Mars 90 gas turbines rated at 9.66 MW.

MHPS receives order for two H-25 gas turbine for chemical company in Turkmenistan.

Two natural gas-fired H-25 gas turbine power plants will be installed at a fertilizer production plant, which is beeing built in the city of Garabogaz. The power generation system is scheduled to go on-stream in June 2018. The two sets of gas turbine and generator on order, with a combined power output of 50 MW, will serve as the core equipment of an in-house combined heat and power supply system to operate in the plant.
