Taurus-Energy Ltd. supplied two OP16-3A gas turbine plants (OPRA Turbines B.V.) each rated at 1.8 MW to the site of Khancheyskoye oil field under the contract with Novatek-Tarkosalneftegas Ltd. The station operates in simple cycle. Main fuel is associated petroleum gas from gas condensate field. The construction of the station was carried out by consortium including Energoservice JSC and Turboenergia and Service Ltd. General contractor for the project is Energoservice JSC. New OP16-3A plants are synchronized with two earlier commissioned OPRA gas turbine plants and three GE Jenbacher gas engine plants. In future it is planned to increase total electric output of the station up to 7.2 MW.

Total electric output of the station will be 40 MW. It will be created on the base of four Wartsila 20V34SG gas engine power plants each rated at 10 MW. The station will be equipped with steam waste-heat boilers manufactured by Wartsila. Their total thermal output will be 17.5 tons per hour of steam. All generated electric and thermal power will be used for the needs of the enterprise. The station will operate on the base mode in parallel with the main power grid. Under the contract three existing substations will be upgraded. The commissioning of the station at the end of 2016 will improve significantly energy efficiency of the enterprise, reducing costs and improving company competitiveness. The main fuel for the station will be natural gas.

Three natural gas-fired combined cycle power plants - each powered by eight Siemens H-Class gas turbines - and up to 600 wind turbines will boost Egypt's power generation capacity by more than 50 percent compared to the currently installed base. Beginning in 2017, they will add power to the grid in stages and will add an additional 16.4 gigawatts in total to Egypt's national grid. This will support the country's rapid economic development and meet its growing population's demand for power.

Oil and gas condensate field is equipped with compressor station for associated petroleum gas collection and transportation. The station will consist of nine various compressor plants supplied by Energas Ltd. Four of them are aimed for compression (up to 3 MPa) of associated petroleum gas supplied from the first stage of oil separation. The output of each compressor plant is 16180 m3/h. Modular EGSI-S-200/1400WA plants are developed for severe operation conditions). The plants operate on automatic mode and are equipped with environmental and safety control systems.

The station includes gas disposition terminal for measuring of associated petroleum gas flow. At present all equipment is assembled on the site. And the preparations for commissioning works are being carried out at the station. All necessary works will be fulfilled by the specialists of ServiceEnergas Ltd. (Energas Group of Companies).

Two Caterpillar 3516HD power plants were put into operation by Mamins Volga Diesel Company. Nominal output of the plant is 1800 kW, voltage of 6.3 kV. Container power plants will generate electric power for the needs of the field infrastructure. The engines are equipped with dual-fuel system developed by Caterpillar. It will give the opportunity to use diesel fuel (30 %) and associated petroleum gas (70 %) from the field. The plants will operate on the base mode. The customer of the project is Vostsibneftegas PAO (Rosneft).
