Siemens SGT-300 gas turbine power plants were commissioned on the site of Belaruskaliy.

The station consists of two SGT-300 power plants each rated at 7.9 MW. It is equipped with two NКV (the Neverlands) waste-heat boilers with capacity of 9.5 Gcal/h, booster compressor station and fuel gas treatment system. Total heat rate of the station is 86.8 %. The station was put in commercial operation at the end of 2012. After commissioning power stations generates electric and thermal power for the needs of the enterprise. The stations operates in cogeneration cycle with the production of the steam for technological needs. General designer of the station is Belgorkhimprom JSC. Belaruskaliy JSC (Soligorsk, Minskaya Region) is one of the leading manufacturers of potassium mineral fertilizers in CIS countries.

Ural Turbine Plant upgraded steam turbine on the site of Ust-Kamenogorskaya TETs.

Under the contract awarded in 2011 UTP JSC specialists upgraded T-100/120-130 steam turbine. The volume of works included replacement of high and low pressure rotors, rotor blading, and replacement of honeycomb seals. In result the service life of the steam turbine was increased up to 200 000 hours.

Energoteh Ltd. commissioned compressor plant on the site of Orenburgskoye oil field (Gazprom neft Orenburg Ltd.).

Компрессорная установка Ariel JGK/4-1Compressor plant is used for natural gas pressure increasing for its transportation to Orenburgsky gas processing plant. The plant consists of Ariel JGK/4-1 4- cylinder compressor. It is driven by Waukesha VHP L7044GSI gas engine with mechanical output of 1253 kW. The compressor plant was packaged and supplied by Propak Systems Ltd. (Canada).

Second stage of power station on the site of poultry farm in Moscow Region.

Total electric output of the station is 5.5 MW. It was constructed in Konstantinovo village, Ramensky District. First stage of the station consists of four Caterpillar G3516 gas engine power plants each rated at 1030 kW and two G3516В each rated at 1165 kW. The second stage of the station comprises of one G3516 gas engine plant rated at 1165 kW. It was commissioned at the end of 2012. The main power equipment was delivered by Zeppelin Russland. All power plants operate in parallel. General contractor for the project is Promenergoremont engineering company.

Saturn-Gas Turbines JSC supplied three GTES-2.5 gas turbine plants to Turkmenia.

The equipment was supplied under the contract with Turkmengas State Concern. The plants each rated at 2.5 MW will operate on the base mode and will generate electric power for infrastructure of Turkmengas. The main fuel for the station is natural gas.

Gas engine power station was commissioned on the site of Samburgskoye oil & gas condensate field.

The customer of the project is Arcticgas JSC. General contractor for the project is PKF SKM. The project of the station was developed by Electrical systems technical holding (Saint-Petersburg). The first stage of the station consists of five GE Jenbacher JMS 620 GS gas engine plants with total electric output of 15240 kW.

Tamarete Energia opens 104MW combined-cycle power plant in Italy.

Tamarete Energia, a special purpose firm owned by BKW Italia, HERA and Odoardo Zecca, has opened the 104MW combined-cycle power plant near Ortona, Italy.

Located in the province of Chieti in Abruzzo, the plant will be capable of generating enough electricity to power 34,500 homes in Italy.

The plant features GE's gas turbine technology, which will help balance the grid variability associated with wind and solar power generation.

GE has also provided two LM6000-PD aeroderivative gas turbine generator packages and one 8-11 MC9 impulse-type, geared steam turbine-generator to the Italian firm STC, which is the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the plant.
