The station with total electric output of 600 kW was put into operation by BPC Engineering Company. The station consists of three microturbine power plants each rated at 200 kW. Two of them operate on the base mode; the third is on the stand-by mode. ENEX power station operates autonomously. The main fuel for the station is casing-head gas.

The landfill is situated in Dubovlyany village in three kilometers from Minsk. For converting landfill gas to electric power two JGC 420 GS-L.L gas engine plants each rated at 1.4 MW were installed on the site. They were manufactured and supplied by GE Energy. Compressor equipment was delivered and commissioned by Himmel. The plants are equipped with Stamford electric generators with voltage of 0.4 kV. The plants operate on the base mode in parallel with main power grid. The customer of the station is TDF Ecoteh-Severny. General contractor for the project is Burremcom.

Dallas-based private equity firm, Panda Power Funds, has announced its plans to build, own and operate a 859MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle power plant (CCPP) project in Maryland.

Located between Air Force road and the CSX rail line off Brandywine road, the natural gas-fuelled generating station will be able to supply electricity to 859,000 homes in the Greater Maryland / Washington DC metropolitan area.

The Mattawoman plant, which will have advanced emissions-control technology and will be a 'zero-liquid-discharge' plant, will use recycled municipal waste water for cooling purposes.

Vestas will supply 25 units of its V90-2.0 MW turbine model for Hanas New Energy to be installed in Yanchi wind park in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (NHAR). The order comprises turbine supply and delivery, towers, VestasOnline Business SCADA solution and a standard two-year service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2013.

Since April 2010, Hanas New Energy has placed orders with a total capacity of 250MW with Vestas, all using the 2MW platform, of which 150MW are already in operation, while 50MW are currently under construction.

The equipment was developed and manufactured under the contract with Lukoil-West Siberia (Yamalneftegas). Scope of supply includes five GPA-Ts-16/102-2,32 М each rated at 16 MW. They are developed on the base of NK-16-19ST gas turbine engines and centrifugal compressors. Installation and commissioning works were carried out by Sumy NPO specialists in cooperation with Kazanskoye engine-building production amalgamation. The output of the first stage of compressor station is 18 billion m3 of natural gas per year. In future the station will be used for gas transportation from Vankorskoye gas field.

The order was placed in April 2013 by Transmashenergo, an independent power producer. It will run on natural gas using six Wartsila 50SG engines. Wartsila will supply the engineering – both basic and detailed, the generating sets with auxiliary modules and systems, automation and control equipment, the electrical system, and the engine hall complete with stacks fitted with carbon monoxide control catalysts. Wartsila will also provide installation and commissioning assistance, and training. The plant is scheduled to be constructed by the end of 2014.

The station with total electric output of 21.5 MW will be commissioned in Revda town on the site of Sredneuralsky copper-smelting plant. The project is realizing by Stark Energy Ekaterinburg JSC. The station will consist of five MWM TCG2032V16 gas engine power plants each rated at 252 kW. The station is equipped with SDMO emergency diesel power plant. The commissioning of the station is planned at the end of 2013. The station will operate in parallel with main power grid. The project of the station was developed by BelTEI RUP. The station will operate in cogeneration mode. It gives the opportunity to put out of operation old boiler-house of the enterprise. The commissioning of the station will increase the reliability and effectiveness of power supply of cooper-smelting enterprise.
