The engine of new generation is created under the cooperation of such companies as Aviadvigatel JSC, Perm Motor Plant JSC, STAR JSC, UMPO JSC, NPO Saturn, Salut NPGTs, Motor Sich, Metallist-Samara and others. For example intermediate case from titanium alloy and high pressure compressor rotor for gas generator were manufactured by UMPO, central drive was produced by Salut NPGTs. Perm Motor Plant supplied stator part of high pressure compressor, combustion chamber and high pressure turbine.

Vestas signs firm and unconditional order with Fila de Mogote, a subsidiary of US-based Hunt Energy Horizons (Hunt Oil), for the 21 MW Mogote wind power plant in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Vestas will supply and install seven V90-3.0 MW wind turbines at the Mogote wind farm to be constructed in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The wind power plant has an estimated annual production of 100 GW/h, which corresponds to the residential electricity consumption of approximately 140,000 people in Costa Rica.

The contract comprises supply and installation of the turbines and a 10-year full-scope Vestas Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Turbine delivery is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2015, with commissioning planned for the year end.

Production facilities are situated on the site of Taman sea port (Temryuksky District, Krasnodar Area). ROLT PSG 2000 gas engine power plants were manufactured by Rolt plant in Kolomna. They were developed on the base of MTU 20V4000L32 gas engine plants each rated at 1948 kW with thermal output of 2067 kW. The plants are equipped with high-voltage electric generator with voltage of 10.5 kV. The plants are installed in containers.

Under the contract two TKA-Ts-16 gas pumping units were manufactured and installed on the site of compressor station. TKA-Ts-16 units were developed on the base of NK-16ST gas turbines manufactured by KMPO JSC.

The station consists of three Caterpillar G3520C gas engine power plants each rated at 2000 kW and thermal output of 2000 kW. They were supplied to the site by Zeppelin PS Rus. Power plants are installed in separate building. The station operates in parallel with the main power grid. The plants are equipped with waste-heat boilers. Generated hot water is used for green-houses heating.

The project of the station provides the opportunity for thermal power storage in special hot water accumulator tanks. Purified CO2 from engines exhaust is planned to use for activization of plants growth.

General designer and general contractor of the project is Lukoil-Energoengineering Ltd. Power units will be developed, produced and supplied by Aviadvigatel JSC. GTES-25PA plants each rated at 25 MW are developed on the base of PS-90GP-25 gas turbines. They will operate in cogeneration cycle and will use associated petroleum gas as the main fuel. They will be equipped with hot-water waste-heat boilers. In total seven GTES-25PA power plants with overall electric output of 175 MW will be supplied to the sites. Their commissioning is planned in 2015-2016.

The station was developed on the base of two Caterpillar 3516 B HD and two Caterpillar 3512 B HD diesel power plants. Total electric output of the station is 5.6 MW. All plants are equipped with waste-heat recovery systems.
