Gas engine power station was commissioned on the site of BMW car showroom on Altufyevskoye highway in Moscow.

The station was constructed by MWM under turn-key contract. It will generate electric and thermal power for the needs of Pelikan-Primary BMW dealership center. Generated hot water is used for the needs of central heating system. The station consists of two MWM TCG2020 V12 gas engine power plants. Total electric output of the station is 2400 kW, thermal output is 2400 kW. The plants operate autonomously on the base mode without synchronization wit the main power grid. At present the cost of electric power is two times lower than tariffs of power distribution company.

Siemens to supply and service 87 wind turbines for Logan's Gap project.

Siemens has been awarded  an order from Pattern Energy Group LP (Pattern Development) to supply and install 87 wind turbines for the Logan's Gap Wind project in the USA. The 200-MW project, located in Comanche County, Texas, will create enough clean energy to power 50,000 homes in Texas annually. The SWT-2.3-108 wind turbines to be supplied have a power rating of 2.3 megawatts (MW).

Installation of the wind turbines at the Logan's Gap project is scheduled to begin this year, with the start of operations expected for autumn 2015. A service and maintenance agreement was also signed to help ensure the turbines operate at optimal levels

Gas engine power plant was commissioned on the site of flour milling plant in Livny, Orlovskaya Region.

The project was realized by ROLT power systems under turn-key contract. Total electric output of the plant is 1.2 MW, thermal output is 1.19 MW. ROLT PSG 1200 power plant was designed around MWM TCG 2020V12 gas engine. The station operates on the base mode in parallel with the main power grid. It is equipped with ROLT power manager RPM-01 control system developed on the base of ComAp industrial controllers.

Nordex has now received a further contract from Lithuania.

This is for the Mazeikiai project located in the north west of the country close to the town of the same name. Nordex will be supplying and installing a total of 19 N117/2400 turbines. Also included is a premium service contract covering a minimum period of 15 years. Work on installing the turbines is to commence in spring 2015. In this way, Nordex will be able to ensure that its customer can obtain maximum yields from the light local wind conditions.

CHP station will generate electric and thermal power for the needs of Volzhsky agricultural complex.

The station is constructed by GreenTech Energy JSC. The station consists of one GE Jenbacher JMS 420 GS and two JMS 620 GS gas engine power plants. One more GE Jenbacher JMS 620 GS power plant will be delivered to the site in 2015. After commissioning total electric output of the station will be 11.5 MW.

Vestas receives a 74 MW order for low-wind site in China.

Jianshui Suntien Wind Power Energy Co., Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Hebei Construction & Investment Group Co., Ltd. has placed a 74 MW order for the Yunnan Jianshui Qikeshu wind farm in the Yunnan province of China.

The firm and unconditional order comprises the supply and installation of 37 units of the V100-2.0 MW wind turbine as well as a two-year Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement. Turbine delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015, with commissioning expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2015. Reflecting Vestas’ new China strategy, the V100-2.0 MW turbines are particularly well-suited for the low-wind, high-altitude conditions of the Jianshui Qikeshu wind farm.
