Wartsila commissioned the forth power plant rated at 6 MW on Magnitogorsky Metallurgical Complex.

After commissioning the total electric power output of the station is 24 MW. It generates electric power for the needs of north departments complex of the enterprise. The customer for the project is Magnitogorskaya Power Company. The station was developed on the base of Wartsila 34SG power plants designed around 18V34SG with the efficiency of 45.6 % (ISO 3046). The station was installed in main building. Each power plant is equipped with hot-water boiler.

Siemens will supply five SGT-400 gas turbine power plants to Verkhnechonskoye oil field.

The contract for the delivery of five SGT-400 gas turbine power plants each rated at 12.9 MW was signed by Siemens Industrial Turbomachienery AB and TNK-BP Holding. Three power plants will be supplied in November-December 2011, two power plants – in February 2013. Gas turbine power station with total electric output of 64 MW will generate power for the needs of Verkhnechonskoye oil field (Verkhnechonskneftegas JSC).

It is the first Siemens contract for gas turbine power plants delivery to TNK-BP. Generated electric power will be used for electric motors driving oil pumping stations, equipment of drilling units and other electric and auxilliary equipment.

Cogeneration power station operates on the site of Odessky Oil-Processing Plant (Ukraine).

The station uses the butt of atmospheric oil cracking. Power station consists of two Wartsila 20V32 diesel generating sets each rated at 8.76 MW and two waste-heat boilers. Main power equipment was supplied by Wartsila Finland Oy. The customer of the project is Lukoil Energia and Gas Ukraine company. General contractor for thermal part of the station is Yuzhteploenergomontazh JSC.

Sumy NPO named after Frunze will supply gas turbine power stations for Vachimskoye and Vostochno-Surgutskoye oil fields (Surgutneftegas JSC).

Each power station rated at 36 MW will consist of three power units designed on the base of NK-16ST gas turbine and TS-12-2R electric generator. They will be equipped with hot-water boiler with thermal output of 3 MW for thermal power generation for the needs of oil fields infrastructure. The stations will work on casing-head gas.

78 MW order for one of the largest wind parks to be built in Sweden

Vestas Northern Europe has received an order from Sjisjka Vind AB for delivery of 30 units of the V100-2.6 MW wind turbine. Sjiskja Vind AB is a project finance company co-owned by wind developer O2 (25 per cent), utility provider Jämtkraft (25 per cent) and construction company Skanska Infrastructure Development (50 per cent). The turbines will be installed at the Sjisjka wind park in a sub-mountainous area in the municipality of Gällivare in the northern parts of Sweden.

The order has a total capacity of 78 MW making it one of the largest onshore wind parks to be built in Sweden. The expected annual energy production of 200 GWh will provide electricity to approx 43,000 Swedish households.

The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline® Business SCADA system and a five-year service agreement - Active Output Management (AOM) 5000.

Microturbine power station was built near Sochi for spa-resort power supply.

 

Power station with total electric output of 1 MW will generate electric power for the need of Rus spa-resort. The customer of the equipment is the Department of Presidential Affairs of Russian Federation. The project was developed by Yuventa-Stroy Company. Saturn JSC is the general contractor for the project. The main power equipment was supplied by Electrosystems Ltd. (Saint-Petersburg).

The station consists of 10 Capstone TA-100 RCHP microturbines each rated at 100 kW, output voltage is 400 V. The station operates in trigeneration mode. It is equipped with two Shuangliang Eco-Energy Systems Company Ltd. absorption chillers. Chillers each rated at 1400 kW operate on hot water. Utilized thermal power is supplied to existing grid.

Zvezda-Enegetika will construct gas engine power plant for Baydaratskaya compressor station in Yamal.

The compressor station will operate as a part of Bovanenkovo-Ukhta cross-country natural gas pipeline. The station will consist of six simple cycle Zvezda GP-1500VK-02M3 gas engine plants. They were designed around Cummins QSV91G gas engines, output voltage is 10.5 kV. Total electric output of the station is 10.5 MW. Main power equipment of the station will be developed, manufactured and supplied by Zvezda-Enegetika JSC.

The station will autonomously operate as a part of isolated power grid. For back-up purposes the station will be equipped with Zvezda 1000VK-02M3-E diesel generating set rated at 1000 kW. General designer of the station is YuzhNIIgiprogas, general constructor - Stroygasmontazh. The commissioning of the station is planned in 2012. Through Bovanenkovo-Ukhta cross-country pipeline natural gas will be supplied to North Stream pipeline.
