Prodiction facilities of Kastamonu enterprise are situated in Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan Republic. The company produces medium density fiber boards and wooden floor coatings. Necessary electric and thermal power was generated by GE LM2500+G4 gas turbine plant rated at 30 MW. At present Kawasaki GPB180 cogeneration power plant rated at 17 MW with thermal output of 27 MW was added to the existing power plant.

GE power generation services has been awarded contractual long-term service agreement by Tatenergo JSC for Kazanskaya TETs-1 combined-cycle gas power plant in Kazan. GE was chosen for the contract in order to ensure the long-term availability of the power plant’s GE-supplied gas turbines, which will help the new facility meet the industrialized area’s strong energy demands.

Siemens secured a contract for the maintenance of the equipment at the power plant supplying electricity to the Novatek-operated Yamal LNG facilities in the Russian Arctic. The company will provide maintenance services for the entire duration of the LNG project. Under the contract, Siemens would also provide training of the customer’s personnel, it said. The remote monitoring of the eight 47 MW turbines will be conducted from the Moscow offices.
